Change the datapoint order when dimensioning
While trying to beat his opponent in a game of on-line chess, Josh Schifter tried to distract his opponent by hollering these words repeatedly: In MicroStation V8, the datapoint order has changed to this: Select the start of the dimension, Select the dimension endpoint, Finally, select the length of the extension line. In the old days, the picking order went like this: Select the start of the dimension, Set the length of the extension line, Finally, set the length of the dimension. If you want your datapoint order to be like V7, set MS_DIMLEGACYPOINTORDER to anything other than zero (0) Note the datapoint order and the prompts in the clip below.
