Change non-snappable elements to snappable in V7
 
Here are a couple of ways to change non-snappable elements to snappable when using MicroStation V7.

  1. Modify the snap property in the Element Information dialog.
    (Note that this does not work on text elements)
  2. Use Edg with the following commands:

    SET SEARCH/PBITS= nosnappable
    MODIFY PBITS=snappable

  3. Use MakeSnap from BEusers.com.au.
    I believe that the original author of this little utility is Bill Steinbock
