Colour blind and can't differentiate between the red and green on V8's PopSet icon?
Do a right-click, go to Properties and enable Use Alternate Indicator Icons. Problem solved.

Note:  In MicroStation V8i, the default icons have been improved so this setting is no longer available, nor needed.
