iTwin Capture Cloud 

Management Units are consumed with the iTwin Capture Reality Management Cloud Service. 
Processing Units are consumed with the iTwin Capture Reality Processing Cloud Service.  

Management Units (MU) 

Reality Management is a recurring, consumption-based cloud offering measured by Management Units per enterprise.  

Management Units are calculated per month based on the average storage volume. The average storage volume is the monthly sum of peak storage volume per day divided by the number of days per month. 

  • Storage: 1 MU per Terabyte per month  

Processing Units (PU)

Reality Processing is an on-demand, consumption-based cloud offering, measured by Processing Units per enterprise.  

Processing Units are calculated per job: 

  • Modeling Acquisition: Free of charge
  • Modeling Calibration: 0.25 PU + 0.1 PU per Input Gpix
  • Modeling Reconstruction: 0.25 PU + 1.0 PU per Processed Gpix
  • Modeling Export: 0.25 PU + 0.1 PU per Processed Gpix per exported format
  • Analysis Training: Free of charge
  • Analysis Detection: 0.25 PU + 4.0 PU per Hour
  • Conversion: 0.25 PU + 2.0 PU per Hour 

Processing Units for Modeling jobs are calculated by the count of pixels in the used images, measured in Gigapixel (Gpix, 1 billion pixels) 

  • Input Gpix: Input Gigapixels from original photos
  • Processed Gpix: Gigapixels of processed Tiles of Reference Model
  • Relevant Gpix: Gigapixels of Reference Model applicable to Export
