Objective

This article describes how to organize and export Flex Table data by system ID in OpenRoads Designer CONNECT Edition 10.12.03.02, based on documented product support guidance.

Prerequisites

Steps-by-Step Instructions

  1. Open your project in OpenRoads Designer CONNECT Edition.
  2. Navigate to the Drainage and Utilities workflow to access Flex Tables.
  3. Open the desired Flex Table (e.g., Conduits, Nodes) from the Drainage and Utilities tab.
  4. Customize the Flex Table view to include the 'system ID' column relevant to your needs. (If unsure which 'system ID' is required, clarify based on your project context.)
  5. Organize the data by sorting or filtering the Flex Table using the 'system ID' column.
  6. Export the Flex Table by right-clicking within the table and selecting Export to File. The export will match your customized view, including any sorting or filtering by system ID.
  7. For batch exporting multiple Flex Tables, create a custom Drainage & Utilities report as demonstrated in the support video provided to the user. (Refer to the linked documentation for further details.)

Expected Results

The exported file(s) will contain Flex Table data organized by the selected system ID, matching the customized view in OpenRoads Designer. The export will reflect any applied sorting or filtering. Not specified in the case.

Additional Notes

  • If you need to batch export multiple Flex Tables, consider using custom Drainage & Utilities reports. A support video demonstrating this process was provided to the user in the case.
  • If the provided method does not meet your requirements, you may request an enhancement through Bentley Support.
