Problem:

Solution:

This error occurs when a nozzle is placed on a parent component that is not supported for nozzle attachment.
In the reviewed model, Nozzle E is connected to a Tubesheet, which is not a valid location for nozzle placement in AutoPIPE Vessel.
The software restricts nozzle connections to specific compatible shell types, and Tubesheets are not included in the supported list.

Solution:

To resolve the issue:

1. 1. Relocate the nozzle from the tubesheet
  2. Place the nozzle on a supported parent component, such as:
    - Cylindrical shell
    - Head (e.g., elliptical, hemispherical)
  3. Re-run the analysis

Workaround:

Use Component Design to evaluate:

- The nozzle neck as a cylindrical shell.
- The flange attached to the nozzle.
