Question:
What is the significance of this warning when it appears in my AutoPIPE Vessel report:
669 BUNDLE LAYOUT: the actual value of OTL (288.274 mm) is not equal to the input value (288.8 mm) used for the calculation.
OTL = "Outside Tube Limit"
Answer:
Open Tube Bundle Properties dialog from inside AutoPIPE Vessel:
Select the help and choose the hyperlink for "Outside Tube Limit". This information will help the user understand how to use this field.
The warning message above warns the user that the manual inserted value (ex. 288.8 mm) is not the same as calculated (288.274 mm) by the program (see OTL reference on drawing)
It is evident from the the help information entering an OTL value is unnecessary when the quantity of tubes is specified.
