Overview

The Tables Module is where you will find a customizable list of data points collected from any sensor within your network. This tool can be found under the Data tab. With this tool, you can filter the data viewed by selecting a time frame, metric/unit, and applying custom metric related filters. Multiple Table setups (otherwise known as "Profiles") can be created/saved for quick viewing of specific data sets in tabular formats.

Using Tables

Navigate to the Data Module by clicking the Data icon on the left side of the screen and click the Tables sub-module.

Once in the Tables sub-module you can see the profiles that you have set up. You can create a new Table profile, edit the share settings for a Table profile, delete it or duplicate it from here.

Once you have created a new profile, you must then select the sensors to be shown in the Tables module.

Once at least one sensor is selected, data will begin to populate for that sensor. Each sensor is its own tab in the Tables profile. From that tab you can add as many metrics from that sensor as you want.

Once you have added your sensors you can add metrics with the "+ Metric" button and you can also adjust which metric you want to display for each column by clicking the small triangle symbol to the right of the Metric name.

You can use the Filter to filter a data range. This is useful if you want to find values that are out of range for the sensor, for example 2000000°C for a temperature sensor.

You can also adjust the time range that you want to present in that table.

Once you have a dataset presented in the Tables module you have the option to select that dataset and either Delete it or Download it in .csv or .xlsx format.

Deleting data will permanently delete the data points from the system, it does not hide them, it DELETES them!

SAA / Inclinometer specific settings

If you select sensors from an SAA device or Inclinometer device in the sensor selection then you can adjust the specific settings for that SAA / Inclinometer sensor.

You can edit the sensor Azimuth, set the Rel. Displacement and more. These are the same options as are presented in the SAA Dashboard card.

Other Tools

Deleting Data

Another significant tool of the Tables sub-module is the ability to efficiently delete large chunks of data. This tool comes in handy when a sensor collects incorrect readings (e.g. a piezometer not connected to a logger properly) and the data points need to be deleted.

To do this check the boxes next to the data points that need to be deleted. Once you have selected the observations you want to delete you can click the "delete" button.

This process will permanently delete the data points from the system, it does not hide them, it DELETES them!

Sorting Data

Once the settings have been put in place you can click on the header of each column to sort the data in increasing or decreasing values relative to that column.

Exporting Data

In the tables module you have two different options for exporting data. One is exporting a selection of sensors within a time range and the other is selecting specific observations and downloading them.

If you want to export a selection of sensors within a time range then you can do so by clicking the "Export" button in the upper section of the module. From there you can choose a specific date time range, choose all the data, select specific sensors for export and adjust the sorting and filtering.

After clicking the "export" button you will receive an email with a link to your exported data.

If you have selected specific observations from the Tables module then you can also export those observations by clicking the "Download" option in the upper left.
