How to Create an Offline Installation Package for AutoPIPE Vessel

AutoPIPE Vessel is designed to support installation in a variety of system environments, including scenarios where internet access is restricted or unavailable.
This article explains how to create an offline (local layout) installation package for AutoPIPE Vessel and use it to install the software on a local machine without requiring an internet connection during installation.

Step 1: Download the AutoPIPE Vessel Setup Program
  1. Download the appropriate AutoPIPE Vessel setup executable (bootstrapper) for the version you want to install.
  2. Copy the downloaded executable to the folder that will be used as the source location for the local layout.

Note: An internet connection is required to complete this step.

The setup executable is the same file used to create, update, or modify an AutoPIPE Vessel installation.

Step 2: Create a Local Layout Using the Command Line
  1. Open a Command Prompt with Administrator privileges.
  2. Navigate to the folder containing the downloaded setup executable.
  3. Run the setup executable with the /layout parameter to download all required installation files.

Example command:

Setup_AutoPipeVesselx64_46.00.02.xxx.exe /layout

This command downloads all necessary installation components into the current folder, creating a complete local installation layout.

Note: An internet connection is required while the layout files are being downloaded.

Once the download is complete, the local layout folder can be copied or moved to any other machine or network location.

Step 3: Install AutoPIPE Vessel from the Local Layout

To install AutoPIPE Vessel using the offline layout:

  1. On the target machine, navigate to the local layout folder.
  2. Run the setup executable from the layout directory.

When installing from a local layout, the AutoPIPE Vessel installer uses the locally available files and does not require an internet connection.
