When clicking on a sensor in the Explorer Resource Management tree users will be brought to the Sensor Overview page - a new page giving the user a number of options/tabs to utilize based on each sensors capabilities.
You will know you are on this page if you can see a screen similar to this...
A description of each tab is contained below...
The overview tab is the first and default tab displayed to users when accessing this feature. There are currently 2 cards displayed on a static (unconfigurable) dashboard - Summary and Graph.
The summary card provides details on sensor specifics...
Entity Type - the type of entity you have selected.
Sensor Type - the type of sensor you have selected.
Note: the sensor type will soon shown both a friendly name and the ID (current display).
Sensor ID - the ID of the sensor you have selected. This field can be copied using the button - a useful feature when using some search capabilities within the product.
Status - the status of the sensor alongside the last recorded observation date and time.
The graph card currently displays a plot line, defaulting to the last 14 days of data for this sensor.
There are options to modify the range period a the top right of the graph in the same way you can use graphs throughout the application.
There is also a timeline below the graph which allows users to either move the timeline, or drag on the graph itself to select a specific period.
Notes:
Graphs may soon load data by default, currently these show the last 14 days only - this may change to always show data to ensure sensors with less frequent data have a useful display.

The add observation button is located at the top right of the page, above the tabs. This feature is available for all sensors on all tabs.
Add observation allows users to store full or partial observations (some metrics can have no value) to a sensor.
Users can now specify a date and time for the data and they can enter a value for all metrics associated to the selected sensor...
Clicking Add will commit the observations to the database.
The delete observation button is located at the top right of the page, above the tabs. This feature is currently only available for calculation sensor types.
The "Details" tab may soon be merged into the "Overview" tab
There will be a new card introduced to the "Overview" tab - this will represent specific metric details for a sensor.
