fort: (11): Subscript #1 of the array FLANGEDATA has value 0 which is less than the lower bound of 1

Problem:

AutoPIPE Vessel fails to complete the analysis and displays the following error message during execution:

---------------------------
Intel(r) Visual Fortran run-time error
---------------------------

forrtl: severe (408): fort: (11): Subscript #1 of the array FLANGEDATA has value 0 which is less than the lower bound of 1

Why does this happen and how to avoid?

Solution:

This issue happens because the EMVD file contains damaged or corrupted flange data. Some of this data is no longer supported in AutoPIPE Vessel v47.

When the analysis runs, the software tries to read this invalid data, which causes an internal error and results in the Fortran runtime error related to FLANGEDATA.

Workaround:

    1. Open the model in AutoPIPE Vessel.
    2. Remove the standard flanges mounted on the vessel.
    3. Save the model.
    4. Recreate the standard flanges using the current version’s flange definition.
    5. Re-run the analysis.

This refreshes the EMVD data and removes the unsupported or corrupted entries.
