Answer:

In one reported case this message was received because the model was created as one type of vessel type when it should have been a different vessel type.

The model was created as a "Vessel on Skirt", then the skirt had been deleted.

However, the Model will remain a "Vessel on a skirt," according to the internal settings. Note, removing the skirt has only "corrupted" the model.

It is possible to attach an "anchor" on the vessel wall, but is only available when selecting "Vertical vessel" (imaged below) and not "Vessel on skirt",

Workaround:

To fix the issue (assuming "Vessel on skirt" was selected) without recreating a new model:

- Open the "Support Type" Dialog
- Select Bracket

- Click Ok button.
- This action will change the type of the vessel from "Vessel on skirt" to "Vertical vessel"
- Then reopen the "Brackets" Dialog
- Select "Anchor"
