Question:
When the original model was saved to NTL (which is part of the round trip method), and the NTL file was opened, AutoPIPE displayed the following message: "Performing Consistency check, Please wait..".
Why?
Answer:
This was only reported one time under the circumstances mentioned above.
After opening the NTL file, search for BNAM command card. The model contained 54 hits in relatively small model. Some of the BNAM command cards was trying to rename Bend Mid points and inserting an support on a Mid point (allowed).
The solution, was to open the original model, reverse all the segments, to force a renaming of all node points. If desired, reverse segments again to rename node points back to original starting point.
Then one should be able to round trip the model.
