The only reason AutoPIPE would automatically modify a support occurs during these two operations:

    1. Analyze all - with hanger selection enabled
    2. Spring Hanger Selection

When conducting a hanger analysis, the program will determine whether to utilize the Variable Spring hanger, change it to a Constant Support, a V-stop support, or remove the support altogether.
