Problem: 

How to model a flange connection between two pipes where the 4" small bore piping is offset from the large bore piping respectively as shown below. 

 

Solution:

Suggest the following steps

1. 1. First model the large diameter pipe as needed (ex. A00 to A01).
   2. Insert the flanges on A01
   3. Next Insert a new segment starting at Dy=5” offset from nodepoint A01
   4. Insert bend and continue piping.
   5. Make C00 the active node point, insert Anchor/NodeLink “Connected to” A01.
   6. Lastly, insert user SIF at C00 to account for SIF connection to Flange.
   7. Done.
