Is there a way to extract all necessary information to generate a model directly from the impact ship analysis for a post-collision assessment?
Although this query is reasonable if you pretend to perform a post-collision assessment, so far, SACS Collapse just creates the model with final deformation; there is no way to include residual stress and plastic stresses. The only thing that you can do is to take the sacs01.dat file created by SACS and then manually adjust the material properties of the impacted members.
For the new model, you need to reduce the yield stress considering the plastic strains reported in the listed file in Collapse Advanced, although this method is really an approximation and inexact.
For now, there is no way to create a model directly considering the output files getting from collapse analysis.
