Feature Subtraction Graphics

Bentley Infrastructure Cloud

Steel Decks and Joists are now fully supported on Bentley Infrastructure Cloud. This enhancement particularly benefits RAM Structural System users.

Revit™

- Improved default materials mapping for older REVIT™ families. 
- Previously, shear stud values were inconsistently displayed, requiring rework to reconcile different display formats. They are now consistently displayed with square brackets for both beams with a single shear stud zone and beams with multiple shear stud zones. A comma delimited format is adopted for beams with multiple shear stud zones.

Cloud Synchronization

 Across all host application's in-product cloud synchronization operation, status messaging has been grouped and streamlined. 

File Synchronization

 Added ability to establish subsequent new Sync. 

Once an existing sync is established, select or establish a new sync by clicking on the blue hyperlink:

Previously only the initial "push" provides the New Sync button, whereas now the New sync button is ever present.

REVIT™ 2024

This update of iTwin Analytical Synchronizer incorporates the latest plugin to support REVIT™ 2024. The installed component is backwards compatible with REVIT™ 2022 and REVIT™ 2023.

For Revit™ users, only one download and installation of iTwin Analytical Synchronizer is required, the latest plugin to support REVIT™ is already built in.

Tapered Walls

This update of iTwin Analytical Synchronizer includes API updates to support Tapered Wall object types. Previously, only walls of uniform thickness were supported. Now, retaining walls and in particular Water Treatment Structures with wall thicknesses that vary along the height of the wall can be represented and benefit from this data type addition.

Tapered Members

This update of iTwin Analytical Synchronizer includes update to represent Tapered Members in cloud workflows. This addition of Tapered members particularly benefits SACS/Offshore interactions with Bentley Infrastructure Cloud. Previously models with tapered members can only be viewed via File based workflows. Now, both File and Cloud base synchronization workflows involving models with Tapered members can be viewed in both iTwin Analytical Synchronizer and the web browser respectively.

Load Combinations

This update of iTwin Analytical Synchronizer includes API updates to support Load Combinations as first-class citizens (for Cloud based workflows). Previously, only primary load cases were supported, and required user’s manual duplication between applications.

Workflows involving multiple analysis applications with hundreds or thousands of load combinations (manual or auto generated) will benefit from load combinations support, in that an analysis application downstream can reuse the load combinations defined in an upstream application without manual reentry. With this enhancement, in addition to the underlying structural design intent, loads, load cases and load combinations will all be transferred via cloud-based workflows.

One example workflow that would benefit involves in-place structure and sea transportation structures utilizing both STAAD, SACS and iTwin Analytical Synchronizer where it is common practice to involve large number of load combinations.

REVIT™ 2024

This update of iTwin Analytical Synchronizer incorporates the latest plugin to support REVIT 2024.

RAM Concept 2023

- Reduced wait times of Cloud workflow operations (Push/Pull). Typical models experience can now be processed approximately 10x faster. Larger, complicated models with more intricate tendon layouts are between 20x to 25x faster to process.

- Improved tendon graphics for iTwins originating from RAM Concept. Including the display of tendon anchors. 

- It is now more intuitive to visualize the interplay between tendons, anchors and surrounding concrete elements in Analytical Design Review

REVIT™

This update of iTwin Analytical Synchronizer resolves a clash in assemblies between external add-ins (such as REVIT™ Dynamo) and the iTwin Services experience within REVIT™. The resolution for the aforementioned involves the iTwin Services Sidebar to be "undocked" in REVIT™.

iTwin Services Sidebar

The iTwin Services sidebar is present in all iTwin Analytical applications. This update improves the about screen with more useful information including ability to quickly ascertain the relevant API versions and access to Logs. This feature helps our support staff to diagnose faults and crashes.

Analytical Design Review

Within Tendon Visualization in Analytical Design Review, the selected tendon properties pane is now more intuitive to use. 

1. Select Tendon Visualization mode.
2. Select Tendon On screen in the 3D viewer.
3. [New] Tendon properties pane showing the properties of the tendon segments. Properties are grouped whenever possible.

Bug fixes

• Double L shapes are now supported in iModels.
• Fixed Beam alignment in iModels.
