How to create patterns?

You can create patterns directly from any dashboard time-series graph.

 




Click on the pattern icon  next to a sensor metric, which takes you to the pattern creation page.

 

 

Each pattern configuration is stored as part of that sensor, meaning once you have created a pattern for one metric of a sensor, the same configuration is shared with all metrics of that sensor in other graphs or dashboards. You may create up to 4 of these configurations for any sensor in your iTwin. Patterns are only created and displayed for the left Y-axis in the case of dual Y-axis graphs plotting two metrics of the same sensor.

You may click on the "+ Regression" icon (1) to create a regression pattern, or the "+ Trend" icon (2) to create a trend pattern.
