When running a Model Consistency Check Report in AutoPIPE, the following error may appear:

Why and how to fix it?
Solution:
This limitation was introduced in AutoPIPE to prevent incorrect modeling of tees. The error indicates that header and branch piping are modeled on the same segment, which is not allowed.
The error message is self-explanatory: Header and branch piping must be modeled on separate segments. AutoPIPE enforces this rule to ensure proper TEE representation.
Refer to the examples below for correct and incorrect TEE modeling:
Modeling Examples:
Model 1 (TEE-1)
- Header runs: (A00–A01 & A01–A02) → Segment A
- Branch run: (A01–C01) → Segment C
- ✅ Correct approach – No error for Tee point A01.
Model 2 (TEE-2)
- Header run: (A01–A02) and Branch run: (A02–A03) are on same segment (A)
- ❌ Incorrect approach – AutoPIPE shows Error E2261-115 for Tee point A02.
Model 3 (TEE-3)
- Header runs: (A02–B01) → Segment B, (B01–F01) → Segment F
- Branch run: (B01–D01) → Segment D
- ✅ Ideal approach – All runs on different segments, no error for Tee point B01.
Auto-Correction Feature:
- Introduced in AutoPIPE v24.00.02.240.
- When opening older models with incorrectly modeled tees, AutoPIPE prompts:
Options:
- Yes → AutoPIPE corrects the model automatically.
- No → Manual editing required; otherwise, error persists.
