Wide window size:

Answer:

This is a known issue (790956) about using multiple screens and Windows management over primary screen vs secondary screen.

Steps to repeat:

      1. Open AutoPIPE on screen #1
      2. Open model example, Walkthru.APC
      3. Press F3 on the keyboard
      4. Normal window size appears.
      5. Use mouse to click on the floating dialog and drag it over to be completely on screen #2.
      6. With floating dialog displayed on only screen #2, Close the floating dialog
      7. Press keyboard F3 again.
      8. Notice the size of the floating dialog is much wider now.
      9. Again, drag the floating dialog to be on screen #1, and close the window.
      10. Press keyboard F3 again.
      11. Notice the floating window returns to the normal size.

Affected Systems:

This is not an issue for people using a Laptop screen and 1 larger screen. This issue only affects systems that have multiple screens in use besides the laptop screen.

Avoidance:

AutoPIPE screen and all floating dialogs to remain on screen #1.

Both input Grids and Results Grids can be opened and closed on any monitor without issue.

This will be fixed in a future version of AutoPIPE.
