Overview
A new version of OpenFlows Water 2024, which consists of WaterGEMS, WaterCAD, and HAMMER, has been released.

Support for AutoCAD 2026 and MicroStation 2025
The new release supports integration with AutoCAD 2026 and MicroStation 2025.
Raster file support for TRex
Raster files are now a supported source file type to import elevation data using TRex.
This was previously supported in the ArcGIS Pro integrated versions, but is now available in Standalone. More information on using TRex can be found here: Using Terrain Extractor (TRex) to assign elevations.
Compatible Platforms and Operation Systems
Compatible Operating Systems:
- Windows 11 (32-bit or 64-bit)
- Windows 10 (32-bit or 64-bit)
Supported Platforms:
- Standalone (no CAD or GIS software required)
- MicroStation 2025, 2024, 2023, and CONNECT Edition (MicroStation V8i may integrate but is no longer supported)
- AutoCAD 2026, 2025, and 2024
- ArcMap 10.8 and earlier (WaterGEMS and HAMMER only)
- ArcGIS Pro 3.1 and later; minimum recommended version 3.2.2 (WaterGEMS only)
ProjectWise integration:
Support for ProjectWise 2024 and 2023 are also included.
Model Compatibility
Older models can be opened in this version of WaterGEMS, WaterCAD, and HAMMER.
Models saved in the 2024 versions can still be opened in 2023 versions.

Stability enhancements and fixes to reported issues
As with all new versions, this release includes fixes to various user-reported issues from the previous release, providing an overall more stable experience.
