Background
In OpenPlant applications, users often need to upgrade EC schemas while retaining custom modifications. The Facet Administrator tool simplifies this process by allowing users to extract schema changes into augmentation files and merge them with newer Bentley-delivered schema versions. This ensures compatibility and preserves customizations during upgrades. The attached PDF provides a detailed step-by-step guide to accomplish this.

Steps to Accomplish

1. Launch Facet Administrator

Open the Facet Administrator tool from your desktop or installation directory.

2. Create Augmentation Files

· Navigate to the Create Augmentation tab.

· Add Bentley-delivered schema collection (left panel).

· Add your locally modified schema collection (right panel).
