Overview
This KB explains how to create custom configuration for ProStructures.
Steps to be follow
Please follow the below steps to achieve this.
1. Create a new folder (e.g. PS Configuration) where you want to create the ProStructures Custom Configuration.
2. Go to the below path and copy both ConfigurationSetup.cfg and WorkSpaceSetup.cfg files.
Path: C:\ProgramData\Bentley\ProStructures 202x\Configuration
3. Paste them into your newly created folder PS Configuration.
4. Inside PS Configuration folder, create one more folder as WorkSpaces. (Organization folder is an optional)
5. Now, copy any default WorkSpace folder along with its CGF file (e.g. USA_Canada_Metric and USA_Canada_Metric.cfg) from the below location or your custom WorkSpace if any.
Path: C:\ProgramData\Bentley\ProStructures 202x\Configuration\WorkSpaces
6. Paste these into your newly created folder WorkSpaces.
Note: This WorkSpace can be renamed as desire that may represent any grouping such as Facility, Client, Department or an Owner. For more information, please visit this KB.
7. Now, launch ProStructures application and follow the next steps explained in the below KB.
Once successfully followed the steps then the WorkSpace will autoload into the new configuration.
