In GeoStudio 2025.1.0, a bug was identified that affects Limit Equilibrium (LE) analyses when the parent analysis is a finite element model (e.g., SEEP/W, etc.). When attempting to solve the child LE analysis, users encounter the following error message:
Error: 1. Mesh is not current with changes in the geometry. Please re-mesh before solving.
This message appears even when the mesh is up to date, preventing the analysis from proceeding.
The issue stems from how GeoStudio checks mesh consistency between the parent finite element analysis and the child LE analysis. In this version, the internal validation incorrectly flags the mesh as outdated, even when no geometry changes have occurred.
This issue has been resolved in GeoStudio 2025.1.1, a point release that addresses this specific bug and includes other performance upgrades.
Users are encouraged to update to the latest version to restore full functionality when working with LE analyses linked to finite element parents.
