Problem Description
In the new RAM Foundation module the Assign - Base Plates command does not function using the Single or Fence options.
An error will occur indicating "No Steel Column was selected. Please try again."
Using the command to assign the same base plate to All columns does work.
The base plate size determines where the concrete foundation cross sections are placed and has some impact on the foundation design making it important to select appropriate base plates for individual columns.
A similar issue affects Assign - Soil and Assign - Surcharge (though those parameters commonly apply to all foundations of a model).
Work-Around
Base plates that are automatically assigned in RAM Steel Column module for gravity steel columns still work, as does the Assign - All option. Using concrete pedestals is another possible work-around.
Solution
To be fixed in version 25.00.01.
