In Precede, you can rename nodes. For a single node, you can rename it through Joint > Rename/Merge.

 

If you need to rename all nodes in a plane or a space volume, you can do it through Joint > Reorder.

If you need to rename selected points, you can also do it through Joint > Reorder, but you need to select selected joints in the selection column, set the space boundary to surround all selected nodes, and set the starting name and increment.
