Once the analysis has been run, you can now begin evaluating the results. We will begin covering Analytics results by looking at the Insights Overview heatmap, as this is the first page you will see when you begin looking at the analysis results.
We will start by navigating to the Insights Overview.
1. From the Analytics main page, click on the name of your completed analysis.
You will be brought directly to the Insights Overview heatmap, which provides quick insight into the linear correlation strength of sensors in the analysis. The legend can be seen on the right side of the screen, indicating that red shades are positive correlations and blue shades are negative correlations, and the hue indicates the strength of the correlation.
Hovering over a given tile will open a popout with information about the two sensors.
Clicking on the pop-out will take you to the Insights page, which will be covered in Part 4 of this article series.
The analysis can also be viewed via a "Variable Importance" bar graph, which can be accessed via the bar graph icon on the top of the page (next to 2 in the image below).
This page provides a bar graph representation of the analysis, ranking sensors based on the importance of correlation with the target sensor.
Hovering over a graph bar will open a popout with information about the two sensors.
Clicking on the pop-out will take you to the Insights page, which will be covered in Part 4 of this article series.
