Problem:
How to add stay plate in AutoPIPE Vessel for Air Cooler as per below configuration?
Answer:
AutoPIPE Vessel only covers identical Tube Bundle Layout at both side of header. Tube bundle layout given in the drawing mentioned above are not identical and not possible to model the exact configuration in AutoPIPE Vessel at this moment.
You can add stay plates by adjusting the number of passes. For example, change the number of passes to 5 and ensure that the number of tubes is a multiple of the number of rows (e.g., 10x7=70).
With the above changes, you will achieve the following tube bundle layout.
Note: You can Refer KB0031119 to know what is the Gap (H2) and how to change it.
