The Events tab provides you with a list view of recorded events for the selected sensor. Each event can then be selected to access graphs and additional event data. This article will guide you in navigating to this tool and show you the available functions and configurations.
1. The Vibration tools are located within the Data Module. To begin, click the Data Module icon on the left-side selection bar. This will expose another layer of tools selection bar to the right of the Modules bar.
2. Click on Vibration to navigate to the Vibration tool.
3. The next page shows an auto-populated list of all vibration sensors added to the asset that are compatible with the Vibration Tool. Clicking the name of one of these sensors will take you to the Readings Tab of the Vibration Tool.
4. Click on the "Events" tab to access the Events list.
The Events page is a list view of each event with the event timestamp acting as the identification. The numbers in the image below will guide you in learning the function of the various parts of the Events page.
1. Data Time Selection- The time selection bar allows you to see events from a specific timeframe. There are default options from 1 hour to 1 year as well as a Clock icon that can be selected to visualize a custom time range for your Events
2. Filter- Clicking on the Filter icon in the upper right corner will expose a dropdown allowing you to search and filter event results by Tags. For more information on Tags, read the following section.
3. Event Selection- Clicking on an Event opens the Event window. The lettered items from the Events window in the image below will be explained below.
A. Previous/Next Event- Clicking these arrows will navigate to previous or later events.
B. Image and Data Download- The kebab icon opens a selection bar allowing you to download the graph as a png, svg, jpg, or pdf image file, or to export the data via a CSV or an ASCII file.
C. Tags- Tags can be used to search and filter event results in this Events tab or to add small amounts of relevant information.
D. Notes- The notes box is a text box ideal for longer format information regarding the event.
