Installation Guide: STAAD Foundation Advanced 2024 (v24.00.01)

Installation files for current and past STAAD Foundation Advanced releases can be downloaded from the Bentley Software Download page. After signing-in, the STAAD Foundation Advanced installers can be located by selecting STAAD in the Brand menu and clicking Apply or searching for STAAD Foundation in the Product Search box.

This version of STAAD Foundation Advanced can also be installed through the CONNECTION Client update service or through the Structural WorkSuite Hub.

This version of STAAD Foundation Advanced can be installed concurrently with the previous version. However, it cannot be installed simultaneously with the previous update (v24.00.00). The bundled SFA V9 installer is an update of version 9 and installing this version will automatically uninstall any previous versions.

Installation instructions

Please note that this tutorial has been created using a beta version of the installer. Thus, we stroke off the last digits that appear after 24.00.01 in the version number. The numbers that you will see in its place will be the ones that will correspond to the released version number.

  1. Please right click on “Setup_StaadFoundationAdvancedx64_24.00.01.***.exe” and select “Run as administrator”.

  1. The following window appears. Please select “Yes”.

  1. You will see that the setup is now initialized, and the following window appears. Please follow the steps as mentioned in the figure below (figure # 3):

  1. Now, finally the following window is displayed showing all the components of installation. Please press the “Install” button to start the installation process.

  1. Once the installation process is complete, the following window will be displayed. Please press the “Finish” button to get out of the installation mode.
