Selective Page Comparison
Users can now select specific pages to compare within the Document Comparison tool. This is especially helpful when working with documents that have different page counts, allowing users to focus only on the relevant content.
Semantic and Visual Comparison Support
The comparison tool now supports both semantic (content-based) and visual (appearance-based) comparisons. This dual-mode capability helps users quickly identify changes in both text and layout between selected pages.
How to Use It

Step 3 & 4:
Interactive Document Alignment
A new visual comparison tool was demonstrated, allowing users to move, rotate, and scale documents for more precise visual alignment. This makes it easier to spot differences between drawings or revisions.
Manual Scaling and Fit Options
Users can now choose to fit documents to width or height, or apply manual scaling to accommodate different document types and layouts.
User Settings Persistence (Not Yet Available)
Currently, settings such as scale and step size cannot be saved between sessions. Each time the tool is opened, these settings reset. The ability to save them for future use is under consideration for a future update.
Alignment via Mouse and Keyboard
While full alignment using mouse drag or keyboard arrows is not yet supported due to technical limitations, manual adjustment is available.
Note: Any nudging or alignment changes apply only to the page you are currently viewing.

We are excited to announce a new feature that allows our users to archive annotations within their projects. Here are the key details:
Archiving Annotations: Users can now archive annotations with the appropriate rules and permissions. This feature helps in managing and organizing annotations more effectively.
Select the Drop down menu in the top right of the annotation itself and choose archive annotation. The annotation will be archived and will be removed from the list.
You can also archive an annotation by the tool bar on that annotation.
Filter Options: There is a filter available to turn annotations on and off, providing greater control over which annotations are visible at any given time.
To see all the archived annotations, go to the 'more filters' option and turn the filter on.
Unarchiving Annotations: Archived annotations can be easily unarchived, allowing users to restore them whenever needed.
To Unarchive the annotation, simply go back to the same top right drop down on the annotation and select 'un-archive'.
Or the popup icon on the annotation itself
Document Handling: When downloading and printing documents, any archived annotations will not be included in the printed version, ensuring a clean and uncluttered output.
The filter for the archived annotation must be OFF. If the filter is on, the annotations will show in the downloaded document.
Permissions: Permissions will and can be set in role creation. Under 'Markup' will be a option to enable annotation archiving.
The Markup tool now has a new toggle to turn on for the UI. All of the buttons got an upgrade!

User Experience: The new renderer aims to provide a more stable and feature-rich experience.
*Note: Photos added to Media Indexing that came in via a Form capture/attachment will not have the ability to be marked up. For these photos, users will only have view permissions.
We are excited to announce the latest enhancements to our Media Indexing service, which now includes powerful image markup tools and the ability to create issues directly from photos. These new features are designed to streamline your workflow, improve collaboration, and enhance project management capabilities.
With the new image markup tools, users can now annotate images directly within Media Indexing. Whether you're working on site photos, blueprints, or any other visual content, these tools provide a comprehensive suite of annotation features, including text, arrows, shapes, and freehand drawings. This allows for clear visual communication, enabling teams to highlight issues, track progress, and convey instructions accurately.
In addition to the markup tools, users can now create issues directly from photos within Media Indexing. This feature allows for seamless issue tracking and management, ensuring that any problems identified in the field are promptly addressed. By creating issues directly from photos, teams can provide detailed visual context, making it easier to understand and resolve issues quickly.
Benefits of creating issues from photos include:
The ability to open, annotate, and manage PDF Portfolios in a markup tool saves time, improves collaboration, ensures compliance, and streamlines workflows across industries. It eliminates the need for multiple tools and ensures all relevant files, annotations, and metadata are kept together in a structured, searchable, and secure format.
