Issue #1:

Problem

Comparison report shows difference in Table of contents:

Also, each model compared, or total length of report is excessively long.

Example: Standard license selected; comparison report contains 63000+ lines.

Solution:

As mentioned in the ATS readme file, under Instructions;

1. 1. 1. "The printer configuration for the "number of lines per page" must be set to ninety-three (93)."

Rerun the ATS.

Issue #2:

Problem

Comparison report indicates "Error - Cannot find file: Test Systems\Models\QA....":

Same messages for all models in the comparison report.

Why / How to avoid it?

Solution:

Typically this may be related to

• • • Virus protection
    • User permissions
    • Read Only Folder Settings 

One or more of the following solution may be needed to resolve your issue.

Solution #1: Confirm Virus protection does not hinder ATS functionality

 Contact company IT department and confirm that an exception for running both AutoPIPE and AutoPIPE's ATS are in place. 

Solution #2: Confirm Virus protection does not hinder ATS functionality

 Contact company IT department and confirm that you have permissions for full Read / Write capabilities to the following locations:

1. 1. 1. 1. AutoPIPE's ATS installation folder (Default: C:\Bentley\AutoPIPE XXXX QAR ATS).
         2. AutoPIPE's program folder (Default: C:\Program Files\Bentley\AutoPIPE XXX
         3. User Profile Path (Default: C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\Bentley\AutoPIPE XXXX\)
         4. Program Data Path (Default: C:\ProgramData\Bentley\AutoPIPE XXXX\)

Solution #3: Confirm No ATS folder are set with Read Only Properties

 Contact company IT department and confirm that all folders under AutoPIPE's ATS installation folder have Read Only folder properties enabled. 

Solution #4: Run ATS Manually

1. 1. 1. Reboot the computer
      2. Log into Connection Client
      3. Start AutoPIPE
      4. Open following model from ATS folder location, C:\Bentley\AutoPIPE 2024 QAR ATS\Test Systems\Models\QA23\QA23.dat
      5. Press Analyze All (Analysis > Analyze > Analyze All)
      6. Generate Quick Reports for Results using Output Report (Result > Quick Reports > Output Report)
      7.  In a moment the report should be displayed. 
      8.  Open Window's File Explorer, and navigate to the model folder location, C:\Bentley\AutoPIPE 2024 QAR ATS\Test Systems\Models\QA23\
      9. Folder should no contain the following files
         • 
      10. IS QA23.OUT file in the folder location:
          • If Yes - Great, you should now be able to run the ATS, open QA23 folder, delete all files except *.DAT and *.CMB. Stop here, and run the ATS as designed.
          • If No -  There is a problem continue below.
      11.  Notes:
          • If rights/privileges problem on the folder then model wont open
          • If model opened and executed successfully but OUT file not shown in ATS model folder under Test systems, then AutoPIPE failed copying back the OUT file for TEMP

Solution #5: Run ATS with interface and Messages ON

1. 1. 1. Try executing ATS with show interface to see if AutoPIPE was actually launched with required licenses.

    2. Is the correct license used during the ATS?
       • If No, adjust license selection before running the ATS
       • If Yes, continue below. 

Solution #6: Run ATS Repair

1. 1. 1.  Run the ATS installer application, select Next
         • 
      2. Follow on screen prompts to repair the installation.
      3. Try to run the ATS with User Interface and Messages turned OFF. Was the ATS able to complete without issue? 
         • If Yes, Great - complete ATS installation as needed. 
         • If No, continue below. 

Solution #7: Nuke and Reinstall to a different folder

1. 1. 1. Using typical Windows commands, complete uninstall the ATS application, and delete the folder: C:\Bentley\AutoPIPE XXXX QAR ATS
      2. If the user has a different folder location on the local computer with full Read / Write permissions, reinstall the ATS to this folder
         (ex. C:\Myfolder\AutoPIPE XXXX QAR ATS\)
         • 
      3.  After installation, try to run the ATS with User Interface and Messages turned OFF. Was the ATS able to complete without issue? 
         • If Yes, Great - complete ATS installation as needed. 
         • If No, contact Bentley.
