Introduction
When using Auto Dimensioning command from Overhead Line Drawing Production ribbon, you can add User Defined Chainage. There you've got a drop down list with some preset formatting. How can you add formatting in the list ?
Instructions
- Run "C:\Program Files\Bentley\OpenRail Overhead Line Designer 2024.00\OpenRailOverheadLineDesigner\SiCat\ConfigurationEdit.exe"
- Open the dat file you want to edit.
It could be dat file in "C:\ProgramData\Bentley\OpenRail Overhead Line Designer 2023.00\Configuration\Organization-Civil\_Civil Default Standards - Metric\Overheadline\customer.dat" (or same in Imperial). remember that it won't be available in your existing project.
You can also edit the dat file associated to your design. Do it when OpenRail Overhead Line Designer is closed. - Edit the customer Ini File. It is where the list is defined in deliverables defaullts
- Add your entry. Don't forget to increment the "Anzahl"
- Exit and Save
The first field is the description "12+345.678m", then it is based on C+ formatting.
