Problem:

How to model vessel on vessel (small vertical vessel mounted on nozzle of horizontal vessel)?

Configuration same as follows,

 

Answer:

AutoPIPE Vessel does not have the feature to model this type of vessel directly.
However, User can use a workaround by modeling it as two separate vessels. Please refer to the snapshot below for your reference.

First, model Vessel-1 as a vertical vessel and note down its weight and loads.
Then, model Vessel-2 separately. User must include the opening in the green model and add the weight and loads of Vessel-1 to Vessel-2 as external loads to match the actual scenario.
