A Bentley Accredited OpenBuildings Designer User is a user who has demonstrated the required knowledge covering a variety of basic OpenBuildings Designer 3D modeling skills and an understanding of Building Informational modeling.
This candidate will be effective and proficient at using OpenBuildings Designer and successfully pass an online self-assessment. The assessment covers a range of commands and skills, including, basic modeling, view manipulation, file creation, building concepts, element creation and placement, element manipulation and modification, the Family and Part System and the DataGroup system.
In this Learning Path you will you find instructions for the accreditation process and a series of courses that teach various 3D modeling skills and techniques for use within Bentley's BIM solution, OpenBuildings Designer.
The focus is working in the 3D modeling environment starting with conceptual block modeling, progressing to standard architectural and structural elements and finishing with a detailed model of a glass and steel roof canopy.
