Problem:

 

I am trying to convert solids like slab, cylinder etc. into mesh elements. But I want to hide the lines in between two adjacent mesh facets. How can I achieve that?

 

Solution:

 

Please refer the following steps to resolve your problem.

 

1. Open the DGN file using OpenBuildings Designer.

 

2. Go to Modeling > Mesh > Mesh from Element.

 

3. Turn on the 'Max Num' check box and set the value to '3' for triangular mesh facets. Also turn on the check box for 'Hide Smooth Edges' which will result into hiding the lines between the adjacent mesh facets.
