Problem:

The Import SignCAD File and Paste SignCAD File tools on the SignCAD ribbon toolbar do not work and result in an “Unknown key-in or command” in the message center.

 

Solution:

Add the path to the SignCADToDGN.dll in the expansion under MS_DGNAPPS.

1) Pick File>Settings>Configuration>Configuration Variables.

2) Pick the MS_DGNAPPS variable and press the Select button.

3) Browse to the C:\Program Files\Bentley\OpenRoads SignCAD 2024.00\SignCADToDGN folder. Set the Files of type to All Files, select the SignCADToDGN.dll file and press Done.

4) The SignCADTODGN.dll path will now display under the MS_DGNAPPS Expansion. Press OK.

5) Press Yes to the Alert message.

6) Close and reopen MicroStation or OpenRoads Designer and try the Import SignCAD File and Paste SignCAD File tools again.
