Why is Bentley Trainer Qualification important?

About Bentley Qualified Trainer:

Bentley Qualified Trainer process is to evaluate the trainers from our Bentley Training Partner ecosystem. Trainers undergo a rigorous process where they are tested on their knowledge, product hands-on and training delivery skills. The trainers are awarded the status of Qualified Trainer for a respective product once they clear a 3 Step evaluation process successfully.

A Bentley Qualified Trainer receives a certificate of recognition and a socially shareable badge from Bentley upon successfully completing the required evaluation process.

3 Step Process for Trainer Qualification:

Assessment:

In this stage, we measure the trainer’s knowledge on a given product. The trainer is expected to appear in a time-bound online test and must achieve a cut-off score to graduate to the next level. The assessment is based on a vast question bank that covers the entire product features. The question bank is created by engineering professionals keeping in mind the usability of the products in the industry ensuring all the necessary features & critical areas are covered.

Assignment:

In this stage, we test the trainer’s proficiency in using Bentley’s product. The trainer is provided with a problem statement and is expected to prepare a model covering the objective as mentioned in the problem statement. Post submission, the project is evaluated by Bentley’s technical experts and based on their feedback, if the applicant is deemed successful & he/she will move to the final level of evaluation.

Interview:

In this stage, the applicant is evaluated on product knowledge, training delivery skills & their ability to handle queries. Trainers undergo a one-on-one live interview with Bentley’s technical expert where they are expected to do a mock training session/presentation and are cross-questioned by the interviewer. If the applicant is considered successful by the interviewer, he/she will be recognized as Bentley Qualified Trainer.
