Problem:

How to model cone shaped skirt in AutoPIPE Vessel?

Answer:

Refer below image for more details,

For straight skirt:

• • Keep the bolt circle diameter empty and enter all other dimensions in Anchor Support or
  • Enter correct bolt circle diameter and dimension F to get the straight skirt.

For Conical skirt:

• • Enter the higher value of bolt circle diameter so skirt of OD at bottom remains higher than skirt OD at top.
  • For example,

Top Skirt OD = 762mm
Skirt OD to BCD (F) = 64mm
And we want 1000 mm skirt OD at bottom.
Then, BCD = Skirt OD + 2 * F
BCD = 1128mm
