How AutoPIPE Vessel calculates values of h in Air Cooler?
Scenario 1:
Open the Bundle layout by double clicking on the Bundle from Component List. You will see the following figure.
Here are the calculation details of h,
Note: You can Refer KB0031119 to know what is the Gap (H2) and how to change it.

Scenario 2:
If you want to have straight stay plate instead of U-shaped figure shown in Scenario 1, Then you have to enter the number of Tubes per Bundle in multiple of Number of Rows.
For example, if you have an 8 number of rows then number of tubes per bundle can be 96 or 104 instead of 100.
Then Open the Bundle layout by double clicking on the Bundle from Component List. You will see the following figure.
