Currently, there is no direct method to cut a hole in a curtain wall panel. However, you can use the following workaround:
Place the Curtain Wall: Set the “Curtain Wall Type” property to “Punched Opening”.
Select the Panel: Use element selection to choose the panel you want to remove.
Remove the Panel: Then, left click on the panel’s edit handle, hold the mouse button, and drag the panel outside the curtain wall.
Note: Dragging the panel outside the curtain wall will automatically delete it. Use “Undo” if you need to restore the panel.
Adjust the Frame: Drag the curtain wall’s frame in the desired direction (to a specific distance vertically or horizontally) to create the hole with specified measurements.
Note: Use “Fit View” as proof that the dragged item is no longer detected in the model.
