Why I am Getting Unable to Read analysis Data in RCDC though STAAD file has no error or warning?

 

For few STAAD files, the analysis is completed at STAAD end. But when the file is read in RCDC it shows "Unable to read Analysis data error". There may be several issues like duplicate entities, multiple perform analysis commands etc., but one more issue may be with the floor group option.

If several levels are grouped under a single floor group, STAAD does not show any warning but it is not a recommended practice. We recommend using a single floor group per level and if multiple floor levels are grouped in a single group, RCDC will not be able to read the analysis data. So, if you are getting the above error, you may check if floor groups are correctly defined in your model.
