Details and Workarounds for two issues raised by Florida DOT

Product(s):

OpenRoads, OpenRail, OpenSite

Version(s):

Area:

Drainage and Utilities

Issue #1 - Incorrect Connection Graphics Position

Conduits do not connect to the correct positions on an endwall. For example, in the picture below the connection region should be positioned in the green circle, but it is being incorrectly transformed which results in it being located where the red circle is shown, and the connecting conduit is therefore also positioned incorrectly:

The amount of the discrepancy depends on:

If the connection region is at the opposite end of the endwall to the location point, then the discrepancy will be noticeable. However, if the connection region is in the same position as the location point, then you may not notice any discrepancy.

Issue #2 - Picking a Node or its Connection Graphics

This issue involves picking a connection graphic for a node where the position of a connected conduit may not update correctly

**Both Issues have been fixed in the 2024 versions of the OpenCivil Products**
