Problem:

Why AutoPIPE Vessel uses SR-X curves when using WRC107 calculation for a nozzle on a spherical shell?

Solution:

You need to select WRC 107/297 (or 537/297) to consider a hollow attachment (Nozzle) in calculations.
Select WRC 107 (or 537) to consider a solid attachment.

When you consider WRC 107/297, AutoPIPE Vessel uses SP-X and SM-X curves in calculation.
