How to check stresses for different pipe sizes separately?
There are following options to see the results only for specific pipe sizes?
Option 1: Model each pipe size with different segments and uncheck the segments from Input Grid except the required one and see the results.
You will see the results for required pipe size only.
Go to the Input Grid>Segment and uncheck the show option for unwanted segment.
Option 2: We can see the results only for the selected components. First select all the components of required pipe size.
You can select the different pipe sizes by selecting required PIPE ID from input grid>Pipe properties.
Analyze the model and go to the results>Quick Reports>Output Report, Check the option Limit reports to highlighted points and see the report. You will get the results only for selected components.
Option 3: We can extract the excel report from AutoPIPE using join conditions also. It will give excel report with all the required columns in one file.
Then we can see the results for each pipe sizes using data filter option.
Analyze the model and go the Results>Report Manager>Excel Reports, then select the columns (for example Code_Compliance & Point_Connectivity). Create join condition and add common column from each section (for example Point_Name & From_Point).
It will create and new excel report and contains all the required information (Pipe OD & Stresses), Then you can sort the stresses for each pipe OD.
Note for Join Condition : Joins can combine data across multiple tables. Specify the columns in the participating tables that the data can be combined on. These columns must be common in the tables being joined.
