In RAM Foundation, in the Continuous Foundation View/Update dialog box, in the Table of Reinforcement, and when the reinforcement is optimized, if the user browses from longitudinal reinforcement to transverse reinforcement - bottom and back again, the data in the table becomes corrupted or duplicated.
If you attempt to redesign the footing after this data becomes corrupted the program may crash.
Freeze the designs completely, or freeze the reinforcement (make all the reinforcement groups not optimized).
Alternatively, the Foundation design criteria can be modified such that the continuous footings are designed as beams (with ties rather than transverse reinforcement). Set the last option on the Design tab to some large number like this:
