As part of our ongoing efforts to enhance Bentley Infrastructure Cloud capabilities and integrations, we would like to inform you that beginning August 29, 2024, SYNCHRO Control’s Construction.bentley.com  URL will be redirected to InfrastructureCloud.bentley.com. This change is part of our commitment to providing best-in-class, integrated solutions across the project lifecycle. By moving towards greater interoperability of our solutions, users like you can benefit from better project delivery outcomes in both design and construction.

Please review the following FAQs regarding this URL redirect.  

 

Q: Is SYNCHRO Control being deprecated?
A: While projects in the Infrastructure Cloud will be referred to as “Build” (replacing SYNCHRO Control) projects once the redirect is complete, you will still have all of the functionality that was provided by SYNCHRO Control. 

 

Q: Will my current login credentials work on the Infrastructure Cloud?
A: Yes! User’s login credentials will provide the same access to their projects in the Infrastructure Cloud as they currently do in SYNCHRO Control. 

 

Q: Will any of my data or connections be lost or interrupted because of the redirect?
A: No interruption of service or connections will occur as a result of the redirect and no data will be lost.

 

Q: Will my projects still be integrated with SYNCHRO 4D and Field after the redirect?
A: Yes. All functionality and integrations with SYNCHRO products will remain unchanged.

 

Q: Will anything change with the SYNCHRO licensing structure that is currently in place?
A: With the Construction.bentley.com redirect, the current licensing structure will remain unchanged for SYNCHRO Control (Build) projects in the Infrastructure Cloud. Soon, however, organizations will have the option to create a single project containing both design and build integrated workflows. This project will be subject to a licensing structure new to SYNCHRO users which would be communicated through their account managers once the structure is ready for rollout.
