Overview

Profiles are an in-app feature across sensemetrics, allowing the user to save a sensor selection, layout, and setting, and return to those saved settings at any time. Almost every module within the platform contains its own set of configurable Profile settings that are specific to that module. Once a profile has been created, it is possible to share it with other Users within your organization for their access and use as well, providing an easy means for collaboration of information.

 

Introduction to Profiles by Module

• Data Module- The Graphs, X/Y plots, Tables, and Import tabs of the Data module each house their own profile configurations suited for the selection requirements of data display in each tab. Note: Profiles created in each tab do not transfer across tabs.
• Spatial Module- The Maps, Assets, and Image View tabs of the Spatial module each house their own profile configurations suited for the selection requirements of spatial display of sensors and data in each tab. Note: Profiles created in each tab do not transfer across tabs.

Creating a New Profile

A new Profile can be created by clicking on the gear icon in the top left portion of the page to access Profile options.

 

 

Click the "+ Add Profile" icon in the upper right portion of the newly opened options box.

 

 

A pop-out window will open to begin configuring a new profile. The profile window and its configuration options will vary by module and tab. For more information on how to build a profile in each module, please visit the respective pages for each feature in our support portal.

 

 

Accessing Created Profiles

 

Profiles are accessed in the same way across both the Data and Spatial Modules by clicking on the gear icon in the top left portion of the page.

 

 

Clicking this gear icon will expand a window that will display several options, including where you can access existing profiles.  Clicking on "View All Profiles"  will expand a list of all of the profiles that you have created or ones that have been shared with you. 

 

 

After Selecting "View all Profiles", you will see an expanded list of all profiles created by or shared with you. Please note that the current Profile you are on is highlighted in blue on the window to the left of your screen along with the matching label at the top of the screen.

 

 

In order to select the profile that you wish to view, simply hover your mouse directly over the name of the Profile, it will highlight in blue as you hover over it, then click the name of the profile. This will select the profile you wish to display.

Now your newly selected profile is being displayed.
