Problem

How to set Selection tool to Individ/New
How to set Element selection tool to Method "Individual" and Mode "New".

History:

When using Element Selection, it is often requested to reset the options to the default values of Mode = New and Method = Individual the tool is restarted.

Solution

Customize the tool to include the key-ins to set the desired settings.

To set Element Selection mode to New:
Key-in: POWERSELECTOR MODE NEW

To set Element selection Method to Individual:

Key-in: POWERSELECTOR SINGLE

String them together with the command to start Element Selection as follows:

POWERSELECTOR MODE NEW;POWERSELECTOR SINGLE;CHOOSE ELEMENT

Replace this command in a custom version of Element Selection.
