Problem

How to snap perpendicular (or Tangent) to an intersection of an arc and line.

Solution

Enable "Fixed Point for Perp. / Tan. From" and set Intersection as active snap and Perpendicular (or Tangent) as the snap override .

Steps:
1. Go to Settings > Snaps > AccuSnap
2. Enable "Fixed Point for Perp. / Tan. From"
3. Set Active snap to Intersection.
4. Set the override snap to Perpendicular (or Tangent).
5. Locate and snap to arc.
6. Locate and snap to Line.
7. Locate other end of line.

Notice line will be snapped to the intersection of the line and arc, but will also be tangent to the arc.

Optional:
If AccuSnap is enabled, the intersection can be selected in one step instead of two if placing cursor at intersection.
